Central Carolina Air Conditioning Launches Local Heat for Heroes Program

Greensboro, N.C. – Central Carolina Air Conditioning, Plumbing and Electric is reaching out to those in need this winter by giving away 100 portable heating units to local heroes in need.

From December 1 – 31st, Central Carolina Air Conditioning, Plumbing and Electric is asking those in the Piedmont Triad to nominate local heroes that might need a little help this winter.

They are looking to help local residents that have served in some capacity whether they are teachers, first responders, single parents, Veterans or volunteers.  Central Carolina Air Conditioning, Plumbing and Electric believes that there are many local heroes here in the Triad that have issues with heating their homes and they would like to give away portable heaters to these individuals.

Individuals can nominate up to three heroes that might need a heater on Central Carolina’s website (https://www.ccair.com/Residential) beginning December 1 and can also apply themselves.  Nominees must live in the Piedmont Triad region of Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Summerfield, Burlington or surrounding communities that Central Carolina Air Conditioning, Pluming and Electric serves.

“This holiday season, we wanted to do something directly for the many heroes among us that have served others.  We know there are a large number of people in need and want to help as many as we can this year with our program.”  – President Robert Allison

Nominations will be reviewed by Central Carolina’s Internal Care Committee and heroes will be chosen based on need, service provided to others and location of individuals.   Nominees must live in Central Carolina’s service area as the heating units will be delivered to their homes by employees.
