Greensboro, N.C. – Central Carolina Air Conditioning is giving away 500 FREE Breast Cancer Awareness T-shirts to Piedmont Triad residents this month to support Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Central Carolina Air Conditioning is asking those affected by breast cancer in any way to share their stories on ThinkPinkGSO.com. Many people have family or friends that have fought the breast cancer battle and Central Carolina Air Conditioning wants to hear and share their stories to encourage others. Several employees of Central Carolina Air Conditioning have been fighting breast cancer and they want to continue to raise awareness. They want to remind women to do monthly self-examinations in addition to the yearly exams performed by their doctor because early detection is key in this fight.
Employees themselves are also raising money by purchasing pink breast cancer awareness shirts that they can wear to work. The proceeds from the employee’s purchases are being sent to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
In addition, every time Central Carolina Air Conditioning replaces a residential heating unit, they will be donating $20.00 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Owner Bobby Allison says “we feel very strongly about supporting the Susan G. Komen Foundation and want to do our part in eradicating breast cancer.”
